Proposal Submission > Instructions for proposals

Proposals will be received through this website, entering the menu tab “New submission”. The scientific committee will not accept other modalities for submitting proposals. Each proposal will be submitted by its only or corresponding author, after login to Sciencesconf. Please read carefully the instructions below prior to submission.

In a first step, you will be asked to provide the following elements:

a) Title of the proposal (please no longer than 15 words)

b) Abstract (no longer than 500 words including up to 5 bibliographical references). Please highlight goals, methods, and main outcomes. If you proposal belongs to a precomposed flash session, please start the abstract with the name of the whole proposed session. If you are submitting the rationale of a precomposed flash session, please fill the abstract space for this purpose. This rationale has the same limit extension and should explain both the timely importance of the session and the overall coherence of the potential presentations (mentioning all of them).

c) Type of presentation: you have to choose among “regular paper”, “preorganized flash session: paper”, “preorganized flash session: rationale” (this case is only for convenors), “workshop” or “poster”.

d) Topic: You have to choose among the different subareas mentioned in the call for papers. Please consider the one fitting better among them. Although Sciencesconf allows multiple choices and we cannot change it, we kindly ask you to highlight an only topic. This will help us to better manage the whole review process.

d) Keywords: please include 3 to 5, separated by semicolons.

In the second step, you will be asked to include the authors’ information. Please fill the name, affiliations, and residence countries of all the authors. The list of authors could not be changed after submission. The email request is not mandatory for coauthors but strongly recommended; as a matter of fact, the most efficient option is to ask all authors to login Sciencesconf because this web may allow you to browse their data. If any author has no affiliation, please fill the gap with “independent contributor”. You will be asked to highlight who will be the speaker(s) as this is a required element, but this can be modified after submission.

In the case of precomposed flash sessions, any proposal can be multi-authored but the convenor must be an only person for an easier exchange with the conference organizers.

In a third step, you will be asked to upload attached files. Please provide us with a short bio (no longer than 80 words per person) of all the authors. Please inform us also in this document if any of the authors are members of one of the societies of T&AM. This information will not be disclosed during the peer review but, if your paper is accepted, you allow us to contact the mentioned societies to verify the authors who are eligible for a reduced fee for during the inscription phase.

Finally, you will be asked to validate your submission.
